I have been thinking about starting a Home and Away site for quite some time but frankly it would be easier and cheaper to add it on to this site. What do you think?

I'm not a home and away supporter AT ALL - but it wouldn't really bother me as long as both sections were kept sepertate. If they were seperate it would be fine.

The only thing i can think of is this site is erinsborough. com and h&a aint in erinsbourough!

I am in the process of acquiring soapfans.com, if I am successful I will transfer this board to that domain and create extensive sections for Home And Away, Coronation Street and Shortland Street as I watched them too. I will also have other US/UK soaps in another area where each soap would have a single forum.
I will have to offer premium membership to help with finance, something like $13/year for extra benefits. Though this will only be a partial help at best and won't even begin to cover previous expenses. I don't mind the expense at all, running a community has its own rewards. With the new forums it will grow even more!
In the past I have stated that I would like to do screen captures for Home And Away, I will put them on a separate site. Soapfans.com will be the central forum for all my soap opera related sites.
I will also be working on adding features to allow approved people to make changes to pages.

Any feedback is welcomed.

Do you mean this board or the soapfans.com board? Congrats on the purchase of soapfans.com ny the way. Also i would more infomatin on what you mean by premium membership? Do you mean that i will have to pay a fee just to be a member of the site?

Absolutely not! Forum membership will always be free!
Premium membership would enable you to have more privileges such as more storable PM messages. I will think about a benefits package once I move this forum. I will of course take no benefits away from the free membership. I think that both forums need to be inactive for the license transfer to take place. I am not sure though.

In a class I teach for adults, I recently did the “unpardonable.”
