Paul: It's mine I bought it

Paul: Well, I pay the taxes

Ned promises to trim Harold’s rose bushes

It's morning on the 25th December 2006

Robinson Household

Paul: (singing) Daar Rum Paa Pum. It's Christmas time.

He goes towards the fridge. Cameron enters the room. Paul opens the fridge.

Cam: Hey Dad

Paul: Hey...Erm...son. Where's that pizza?

Cam: What pizza?

Paul: You may look smart now but, you owe me!!

Cam: I don't understand Dad.

Paul: If you don't stop playing silly games with me, then I'll....

Cam: You'll what.......kill me?

Paul: What a spectacular idea!

Cam: What idea?

Paul: Right, you've asked for it!

Cam: Asked for what?

Paul pulls up his trouser leg and takes off his leg.

Cam: Wow Dad, it's magic!

Paul: I know!

Paul hits Cameron over the head with his leg. Elle walks into the room.

Elle: Oh My God, Cam!

Paul: Err....Elle......it was an accident.

Elle: call an ambulance, NOW!!!

Paul walks up to the phone and looks at it.

The Timmins's Household

Janelle: Christmas is only once a year

Bree: Mum! It's only like.... 9am!

Dylan: I'm back off to bed.

Dylan yawns and walks away.

Janelle: What's with him?

Stingray: Maybe you have just woken him when he was trying to have a spiggin good rest y'know!!!

Stingray leaves the room

Janelle: Looks likes me and you kid.

Bree: Whatever mum. I'm off back to bed!

Janelle: Please don't!

Bree: Sorry!

Bree leaves whilst yawning. Janelle races towards the phone.

Number 30 Household

The phone rings.

Janae: I'll get it...oh. Hi Mum.......no, I understand........bye.

Janae puts down the phone.

Boyd: What did she want?

Janae: I'm sorry Boydie but I have to go. Bree's got sick. I have to help take care of her.

Boyd: But it's Christmas!

Janae: I know hun, but I have to take care of her. I know.........come with me!

Boyd: Really? Isn't Bree like........infectious?

Janae: I hope not. C'mon.

Janae drags Boyd out of the house.

The Mangel/Bishop/Carpenter Household

Baby Kerry cries as Sky tries to calm her down.

Sky: I don't understand Granddad.

Harold: I bet she's just excited. Y'know cause it's Christmas!

Sky: Probably, but I was sleeping.

Harold: I know, she woke me too!

Sky: Sorry Granddad!

Harold: Oh...no. That's ok. I'm here to help.

Sky: Just wish Dylan was here.

Harold: Maybe he'll be around later.

Sky: maybe. I hope.

The Kenedy/Kinski Househouse

Rachel and Zeke are fighting to get through the door.

Rachel: I'm first. I'm the oldest!

Zeke: Yeah, and I'm the youngest!

They race towards their presents. Katya enters the room.

Katya: So... what did you get then?

Rachel: A DVD from Susan, a CD from Bree and another DVD from Stingray, so far.

Katya: Cool! Zeke?

Zeke: I got a CD from Bree, and so far, I've opened a tool kit from Karl.

Rachel: And what are you going to do with that?

Zeke: I dunno....I like it. So shut it!!

Katya: hey you guys. Don't spoil a nice day. Here's my gift!

Katya hands Rachel and Zeke an envelope each.

Katya: I know it's not much, but y'know....

Zeke: Thanks Katya

Rachel: 500 dollars!! Wow! You must have been saving for ages.

Katya: And now you two can have fun with it.

The Robinson Household

Elle: Dad.....call for help....dad!

Paul: Elley, Elley, Elley. I'm afraid I can't do that.

Elle: Please Dad. Why? He's your son!

Paul: Because.....

Paul throws the phone across the room.

Paul: The phone's broken.

Elle: C'mon Cam. Wake up. How could you do this Dad?

Paul: Why don't you just blame my leg?

Elle: I hate you!

Elle runs past Paul and outside. Ned is trimming a rose bush. Paul runs outside.

Paul: Elle, darling, come back.

Paul grabs a shovel next to Ned as Elle runs faster.

Elle: No! You killed Cam!

Paul: He ate my pizza!

Ned turns towards Elle and Paul. Paul throws the shovel. Elle falls down.

Ned: Elle!!

Ned races towards her lifeless body.

Paul: No Ned! It's too late.

Ned: You murdering scum!!!!

Paul: Oh no. I believe it was my shovel you have to blame.

Ned grabs the shovel next to Elle. Sirens are heard coming towards the street.

Ned: Now you'll have your time in jail!

Paul: I don't think so.

Sergeant Steiger gets out of one of the police cars.

Steiger: Hello Paul. Are you ok?

Paul: Yes, under the circumstances.

Ned: Yeah! You killed them!

Steiger: Them?

Ned: Yes. Cameron and Elle!

Paul: Cameron? Oh my god! You killed him too?

Ned: Me? It was you!

Steiger: Ned Parker, I'm arresting you on the suspicion of the murder of Elle Robinson.....

Steiger drags Ned away.

Paul: You may want to check this for forensic evidence!

Paul points towards the abandoned shovel. Steiger picks it up.

Steiger: Take Ned parker to the station!

Ned: It's no use Paul. Your DNA will be all over the murder weapon as well!!

Paul waits for Steiger to get into the car. Paul lifts up his hands revealing gloves.

Paul: Not this time Ned. Not this time........

Ned: I didn't do it!
Steiger: Your prints were found all over the weapon.
Ned: I was trimming a rose bush!
Steiger: Likely story!
Ned: It was Paul. he killed Cameron too. Check his house!!!
Steiger: We have a police search over there now.....

....but what will they find?

Janae: Sorry. I have to go. Bree's got sick. I have to help take care of her.
Boyd:But it's Christmas!

Ned:Elle!
Paul:No Ned. It's too late.
Ned:You murdering scum!!
Paul waits for Steiger to get into his car. Paul lifts up his hands revealing gloves.
Paul: Not this time Ned. Not this time!

In the Street

The residents come outside to see what the fuss is all about.

Janelle: What the bloody hell's going on here?

Dylan: What is the ambulance here for?

Paul: It's Elle.........something terrible has happened......Ned.....he killed her!!

Janelle: Bloody hell!!

Dylan: Oh my god!!

Dylan leaves crying.

Janelle: Are you ok Paul?

Paul: I just wasn't expecting this.......and on Christmas Day!

Paul starts sobbing.

Janelle: There-there Paul. Do you want to come in?

Paul: No! Somebody must tell Cameron and Gail.

Janelle: OK then, bye.

Paul leaves as Janae and Boyd head towards Janelle.

Janae: What's the fuss about?

Boyd: There's like police and paramedics around everywhere!

Janelle: Oh, poor Elle. Ned....he..err...he killed her!

Janae: No way! Ned. Really? Poor Elle!

Boyd: And we've been living with him for like the past 6 months.

Janelle: I know! Can't trust anyone these days.

Janae: So. How's Bree?

Janelle: Bree. Why?

Janae: She is sick right?

Janelle: Err.......kinda.

Janae: Mum!

Janelle: I miss you, that's all.

Boyd: So you mean you woke the two of us up and forced us to come here to keep you company?

Janae: yeah mum. What about Dylan, Bree or Scotty?

Janelle: They went back to bed.

Boyd: I'm going. C'mon Janae.

Boyd and Janae leave.

Police Station

Ned is sitting at a table. Steiger is pacing up and down the room. Ned's solicitor enters.

Steiger: So we can begin! For the benefit of the tape, Mr. Ian Steiger has just entered the room.......Ned Parker, you were arrested earlier this morning on the suspicion of the murder of Elle Robinson. How do you plead?

Ned: Not guilty!!

Steiger: Forensic evidence would suggest otherwise.

Ned: I didn't do it!

Steiger: Your prints were all over the murder weapon.

Ned: I was trimming a rose bush!

Steiger: Likely story.

Ned: It was Paul. He killed Cameron too. Check his house!

Steiger: We have a police search over there now.

Ned: And?

Steiger: And I suggest that you're lying. You viciously killed your ex-girlfriend and are lying to us over, and over again.

Ian Steiger: May I suggest my client takes a break?

Steiger: Sure.

Steiger leaves the room leaving Ned and his solicitor Ian alone.

Outside Lassiters

Max: I know we're not exactly best buddies, but I'm sorry for your loss Paul.

Paul: Thanks Max.

Steph: Me too. She was a nice girl at heart. We'll miss her, even after what she did to us.

Paul: Thanks Steph.

Paul shakes their hands as they enter Lassiters. Harold, Sky, baby Kerry, Miska and Lou come along.

Harold: In these times of need, your friends and family are a way to overcome your pain and tragic loss. I'm so...very sorry Paul.

Lou: Me too.

Miska: And me....Lou Bear and I give our sympathies.

Paul: Through reception is a small memorial for my little girl.

Harold: Ok Paul.

The Police Station

Steiger enters the room.

Steiger: We have completed our investigations in the Robinson household.

Ned: And?

Steiger: There was no evidence of any dead bodies ever present in the Robinson household.

Ned: There has to be. Elle said.....

Steiger: Aahh. So you admit that you had had a conversation with Miss Robinson before you attacked her?

Ned: No!

Steiger: You won't be working your way out of this one!

Lassiters

The residents are sitting in chairs inside. Paul has just finished his speech and Harold gets up.

Harold: In this sadful time, we should all pray for the wonderful girl Elle was...... Our father who art in heaven.........

Everyone continues to pray. Paul slips out of the room.

Outside Lassiters

Paul walks outside. Suddenly there is a rustling in the bushes next to him.

Paul: Who's there? I have a gun!

Dylan: I hope not. Sorry for scaring ya Paul.

Paul: It's my daughter's memorial service!

Dylan: I know we split up and all, but I really miss her.

Paul: I know, so do I.

Dylan: I don't really know what to say to ya Paul. I'm really sorry!

Paul: I know. So, what were you doing in the bushes?

Dylan: I didn't know whether to come in or not, being her ex, you know.

Paul: Anyone's welcome.

Suddenly a loud bang is heard from down the street.

Dylan: What was that?

Paul: I don't know.

Dylan: Let's go check it out!

Dylan and Paul head off in search of the loud bang. They find a rusty old car parked outside number 26.
Dylan: What a crappy car!

Paul: makes your house look rusty too!

Dylan: Excuse me, you can't park here.

A man gets out of the car.

Dylan: Dad?

Kim: Hey son!

Ned is released from jail.
Steiger: You are free to go Mr. Parker.
Ned: Really?
Steiger: We have video footage of the real culprit.
Ned: How?
Steiger: From an onomous person.

The hunt is on for Paul.

Kim's return to the street shocks.

Dylan plans to leave Ramsay Street.
Dylan: I have lost too many people here.
Sky: Who?
Dylan: You, me, Elle, Paul.....I need time alone.
Sky: For how long?
Dylan: I won't be coming back.

Last time on Neighbours:

Kim returned to the street.
Dylan: Excuse me, you can't park here
a man gets out of the car.
Dylan: Dad?
Kim: Hey son.

In the street, outside number 26. (continued from last time)

Kim: I'm back.

Dylan: What? But the police will be after you!

Kim: I know but I can't keep running forever son, you know that.

Paul: I'll leave you two to it.

Paul heads off towards Lassiters.

Kim: Aren't you gonna give your Dad a hug?

Dylan: Why? So you can leave us again? Why break mum's heart again? Why can't you just leave us alone?

Kim: I've come back for what I deserve and I wanna wake it up to you all.

Dylan: What, when you'll be behind bars for like what, 20 years not including you going on the run from the cops?

Dylan heads off in the direction of Paul.

The Police Station ( office room)

Steiger enters. Two policemen are sitting in front of a t.v. screen.

Steiger: So what's this then?

Policeman 1: It seems that your murder suspect, Ned Parker, is well.........innocent!!

Steiger: Innocent??

Policeman 2: Watch this sir.

He rewinds a tape back. The footage shows Ned trimming a rose bush and Paul throwing the shovel at Elle.

Steiger: Do we know who sent this?

Policeman 2: It was delivered today through the post. The witness is unknown.

steiger: Well, what are we waiting for........Paul Robinson will be out of this country before we get to him!

They all race out of the office.

Outside number 26

Kim is sitting in his car. Janelle, Bree and Stingray come along.

Janelle: She was such a lovely girl.

Stingray: Mum, I thought you hated her!!

Bree: Yeah mum. What's with the change of heart?

Janelle: Well y'know, can't a girl change her bloody mind once in a while?

Stingray: No!

Kim gets out of his car.

Kim: Janelle!

Janelle: Kimbo?

Kim: It's me love.

Janelle rushes over to him. Kim is about to hug her when suddenly she slaps him in the face.

Kim: Ow! Hey!

Janelle: Well. You deserve it.

Stingray: Yeah. You hufter!!

Bree: Hey! That's not fair. He's our dad.

Janelle: Well he doesn't deserve to be!

Janelle heads off to the house.

The Police Station (Ned's cell)

Steiger enters Ned's cell.

Steiger: You're free to go Mr. Parker

Ned: Really?

Steiger: We have video footage of the real culprit.

Ned: How?

Steiger: From a anomous person.

Ned: And what about Paul?

Steiger: It seems that Mr. Robinson has vacated his premises.

Ned: So, he's on the run?

Steiger: If only this anomous person would have revealed this sooner......

Ned: Yeah.

The Timmins's Household

Janelle, Stingray and Bree are sitting on one side. Kim is sitting on another sofa. They are silent. There's a knock on the door. Janelle answers the door.

Janelle: Oh, hi Sky.

Sky: Hey. Have you seen Dylan round here?

Janelle: No sorry.

Sky: No. That's ok.

Sky spots Kim sitting on the couch.

Sky: Kim?

Kim: Hi love.

Sky: Err........hi.

Baby Kerry starts to cry.

Janelle: Oh, the poor bub.

Kim: Who's this?

Janelle: This is your grandchild. The one who you weren't around for. You were never here. Bree needed you, Dylan splitting up with Sky, getting engaged to her then finding out that Scotty had been sleeping with her, Anne, your biological daughter, Scotty and his drinking problems and everyone being messed about by Karl. You should just leave!!!

Stingray gets up and pushes past Sky.

Sky: Hey!

Number 30

Boyd and Janae are being all lovey-duvey on the couch. Ned enters.

Janae: Ned!

Boyd: Weren't you arrested? For murder?

Ned: They let me go. Someone sent in evidence proving that Paul did it.

Boyd: Sorry mate.

Ned: It's ok.

Janae: Are you ok Ned?

Ned: Yeah, y'know.

Outside number 26

Dylan is throwing clothes and various objects into the back of his car. Sky spots him.

Sky: What are you doing?

Dylan: I'm packing and I'm getting myself out of this hell hole.

Sky: But Dylan......

Dylan: I have lost too many people here.

Sky: Who?

Dylan: You, me, Elle, Paul..........I need time alone.

Sky: For how long?

Dylan: I won't be coming back!

Sky: And what about your family and what about your daughter? Do they mean absolutely nothing to you?

Dylan: Of course they do!

Sky: So why are you being so selfish. You're acting like your father.....

Dylan: I'm nothing like him!!

Janelle comes out of the house.

Janelle: Dylan?

Sky: He's leaving!

Janelle: Leaving? Dylan, you can't be serious. You're acting just like your father. Don't be a bloody idiot!!!!

Dylan: I have to go. Tell Bree and Janae, I love them. Tell Scotty that I sorta love him too and that I've forgiven him for everything. Tell Dad.......tell him to leave and mum, you know I love you and will always miss you?

Sky: And what about Kerry? How's she gonna feel with no father around?

Dylan: Maybe she'll be better off without me.

Sky: But I love you Dylan. Can't you see? We need to be here for Kerry!

Dylan: But I don't love you Sky!!!!

Sky: But why can't you stay, at least for Kerry's sake?

Dylan: She's the only reason why I never left earlier.

Dylan gets into his car. A tearful Sky and Janelle watch him leave Ramset Street.

Janelle: My little boy's gone! And I blame you.

Sky plans to leave the street.
Sky: Me and Kerry have to go Granddad!
Harold: Don't make any rash decisions.
Sky: I have to find Dylan.
..........but will she find him?

Kim's arrested over the pirated DVD's.

Summer shocks Max and Steph with her new boyfriend.
